WheelNamer ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at wheelnamer.com — a free spin the wheel tool and party games platform. WheelNamer is run by AppFloe Ltd, a private limited company registered in England & Wales (company no. 17280897), registered office Unit 5 Prospect Court, Lowmoor Business Park, Nottingham NG17 7LF, United Kingdom. We collect minimal data. Here is what we may hold:

• Comments: If you submit a comment via the comments form, we store your name, email address, and comment text in our database. Email addresses are never displayed publicly.
• Usage data: Anonymous analytics data collected via Google AdSense and associated Google services, including approximate location, browser type, and pages visited. This data is aggregated and not linked to individuals.
• Cookies: We use cookies for advertising (Google AdSense) and to remember your preferences. See our Cookie Policy for full details.
• Quiz Builder purchases: If you buy the Quiz Builder, we store your email address, your Stripe customer reference, what you bought and when. Payment is taken by Stripe: we never see or store your card number. To sign you in we email you a one-use link and set a sign-in cookie (wn_session); both are stored only in a scrambled (hashed) form. We also record which question sheets your account opens, to spot misuse of the question bank. If you save quizzes, we store their names and questions against your account, so they appear on any device you sign in on.
• Payment help requests: If you use the "Paid but can't get in?" form, we ask for your correct email address, the email you typed at checkout (if you know it), your name as it appears on the card, the last 4 digits of the card, roughly when you paid, and any message you add. We never ask for, and the form will not accept, a full card number.

• To display your comment on the website (after manual approval)
• To respond to support enquiries sent to our email address
• To give you access to the Quiz Builder you paid for, and to sign you in
• To check a payment help request against the payment in Stripe, so that a purchase is only ever moved to a different email address when the name on the card and the last 4 digits match. We use these details for nothing else.
• To serve relevant advertisements via Google AdSense
• To understand how visitors use the site and improve our service

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings.

Comments, Quiz Builder purchase records and payment help requests are stored securely in a Neon PostgreSQL database hosted in London (AWS Europe West 2). We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties.

We use two service providers for the Quiz Builder: Stripe, which takes the payment and holds your card details, and Resend, which delivers our emails.

If you are located in the UK or EU, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Object to processing of your data
• Request restriction of processing
• Lodge a complaint with the ICO (UK) at ico.org.uk

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@wheelnamer.com.

• Comments are retained indefinitely unless you request deletion.
• Quiz Builder purchase records are kept for as long as your licence exists, and afterwards for as long as UK law requires us to keep sales records.
• Saved quizzes are kept until you delete them, or until your account is deleted.
• Sign-in links stop working after 20 minutes, and sign-in cookies after 30 days.
• Payment help requests, including the name on the card and the last 4 digits, are deleted automatically 90 days after the request is resolved, and never kept longer than one year.

We will action deletion requests within 30 days.

WheelNamer is suitable for all ages and is widely used in schools and classrooms. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal data, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
